what we have read so far, are basically based on religion and political figures. For example, Cotton Mather and Jonathan Edward, who are two of the most important puritan and Christian religions figures in America history.Also,in the past years, religion were usually used with political motive. Benjamin Franklin, who was one of the founder of U.S, didn’t believe religion can stay in government so that it would interrupt government's policies and justice.Also, he is the model for the other three, although they were all excellent figures in American literature; they thought Benjamin Franklin's virtue was gracious especially for his saving of time.Then, Thomas Paine, supporter of American, is guided of the ideas which made out of others make together. John Locke, who published two treatises on government, was the creator of the ideas of American constitution. His ideas of free press, equal rights before law, influence the following generation in Europe, even in America.
Also, what we read is a process which proves the oral literature to written literature. In Native American literature and the other literature which were written, they were different. The oral literature seems more candid. The written literature carries more personal emotion
