Connection between Buddhism and Confucianism

Buddhism and Confucianism, both are the most influential philosophies in the Asia, inevitably, have some connection between them.
Both of them emphasize manners, which mean human being should behave well according to the social order. This is important in the ancient time because it can improve our quality and make people easy to administrate. Moreover, they don’t accept external authority and divinity. They believe human should be enlightened by themselves instead of receiving knowledge all from the outside.
