Connection between Buddhism and Confucianism
Buddhism and Confucianism, both are the most influential philosophies in the Asia, inevitably, have some connection between them.
Both of them emphasize manners, which mean human being should behave well according to the social order. This is important in the ancient time because it can improve our quality and make people easy to administrate. Moreover, they don’t accept external authority and divinity. They believe human should be enlightened by themselves instead of receiving knowledge all from the outside.

Kant: he doesn't believe the existence of God.That is the same as what Emerson believe.Moreover,his thought is to think ovjective subjectively.I think it's kind of fitting to the Man Thinking.We should use our own minds to think everything,especially to think it deeply.
Hinduism:Hinduism is peaceful,they are quite positive about the world.However...........................I don't understand what is connection with Emerson..............

Quiet Geese, Peaceful life
As a human, I can see, fell, touch, and hear things in this world.Geese, which is also a member in the world. When they barked, I can hear them although I can’t understand it. When I hear it, I know I am alive. I can have my thought about what they are talking about. Even though I was lost sometimes, wondering why and what I have done. It makes me I am not attached to this world. The Geese, which is swimming on the lake, calms me down. Most of the time, they stay in the quiet water alone or with their friends. They seem satisfied with their lives always. If I were them, I would have a better life which is peacefully and happily.

An atheistic perspective of the world
as an atheist, I think I try to view the world as adiaphorous as possible. Whatever we meet before, no matter whether it is bad or not, things have two sides. For example, if I get an 80 in my test, which may a very easy one; of course I will fell upset, but when you think it in a different side, you will find new things which may impress you, help you much more than your happiness of your 100.You may go over the exam very carefully, find out how and where did you do wrong; moreover, with deep thinking, you will find out why you did these mistakes and how to correct them. It is not only a setback but a progress.
I use almost the same way to feel such a fantastic and complicated world. Every day, different things happen around us, it is too tired and foolish for us to think of them as if they are insignificant to us. In this world, everything is related to us. Don’t overlook tiny thing such as ant. We can use our little finger to press them to die without shaking. Its death is inessential to us, however, it may be the one who sent to find food or new castle for its whole community, the community can be died away for its death. Or it is a poisonous ant; our finger may get disabled for such a tiny death.
The nature is not only for human beings, but for the whole creation in the world. Everything will be related to us in some extent and in some days. Don’t be distant with the nature. Try to feel the creation as your relatives, they are part of you, they help you without informing you and hurt by you but not telling you. Once you feel, see, smell, listen to things with your heart, you will find everything around you is the sweet on the table, water on the desert, and the 100 on the paper.
What are important to your life are our attitudes to the world. To have a wonderful world is to have a good attitude to your world.

Nature
In Emerson's opinion, nature is good for human beings. Nature, in the common sense, refers to essences unchanged by man.So; nature is the basis of us and gives us everything. Every second we live in the world, that is the gift of the nature.Actually, he thinks few people can see nature, they just use it and despite it. No matter how much they exploit and how bad it is, they think nature is not related to them directly so they don't need to understand what nature is.
I think his perspective is believable although it may be too philosophical, so it might not be realistic. In the world, it is hard for common people to understand, even want to understand what nature is .This fact may be too theatrical and too behind us. Nature is unshaped, it can't be understand totally and being studied totally. It might change at every moment no matter human beings do to predict them. Nature is above us, it creates us and make law,namely,science to control our life .If we disobey the law, the disaster will come to us, nature is brute and fast;however,at the meantime, it let us behave ourselves and shape our soul.

Fate
In my opinion about what Emerson's view is we can shape our behavior and refine our soul to have the power to deal with the nature. Even though nature is immense and mighty, it can destroy human beings as to destroy flies; what we can do is to believe in fate is good to us ,with our faith to we can get guard by fate, we can do things better to change our life.
Obviously, fate is believed by many people. They neither change it nor betray, never and never. In some special cases, which are famous but rare, the strong-minded people make progress as they believe in fate. I think they must trust themselves before they trust the fate. They think they are unique and excellent, to do great deal in their lives which are predeterminated by the fate. So they become more excellent even though they used to meet some plight, they believe they can overcome it because they are the guys ordered by the fate. In short, they are fighting for themselves but for the fate.However, on the other hand, it is a disaster for frail people to believe in fate. Once they do it, it is a disaster for them. They would become hopeless as they think the failure to them is unchangeable, they should be, and must be like that .In the situation; they are controlled by the fate.

Today we talked about our community again, but it changed because of what we read before. There are several types of communities we have read, religious, environment, and politics communities.Basically, their function and difference can be told from their name, and I want to talk about the difference between the communities base on different types of resource.
As Narthex use the natural resource basically, so they are more reliable but tougher. The community live with the resource which is ready may seem more advanced and convienent, but they may be harmful sometimes.
Values of three different communities
Puritans:
Puritan community pursues both moral purity down to the smallest detail as well as ecclesiastical purity to the highest level. Puritan culture emphasized the need for self examination and the strict accounting for one’s feelings as well as one’s deeds.
So puritan's value is that they insist on purity and order.
Native Americans:
Native Americans live as nearly the same as the aboriginal live in other parts of the earth. The nature condition determine whether they will live comfortably or live toughly .So they cherish what the nature has given them, although it might not comes from their true minds. As a result, they seldom waste food and water even though it is plenty in that point.
So the value of Native Americans is that their frugality.
Ben Franklin:
Ben Franklin is the founder of Usher is the model of so many American even though years past. He seeks to be a perfect person. To achieve his goal, he makes a cruel list of himself, and the point is he was trying to perfect himself throughout his life.
So the value of Been Franklin is his industry.

Man thinking
Everyday, we learn different kinds of things. These kinds of things may come from books, people around us, but the deepest and intricate ones come from nature. Nature is our cradle, when we are born, we hear and see something from the nature, and then get to know them. Through learning things from nature, we can become more mature and placid. Nature is like an exquisite song which can shape our crossover mind to make us become more like her. Try to imagine, after a day work, go back home and look at the environment aroung, confused us will get a magical feeling that make us calm down and make us use the positive side to think of our life.
On the other hand, the complex society makes us get confused too. In the school, we learn knowledge about textbook, learn how to deal with the relationship between teachers and students, learn how to forgive and so on. Too often, we give up being successful to live in the society, at that moment, the nature save us.
I think the views above are part of the Man Thinking. Man thinking should be concerned by people of course, what people can do? Is it only copy the knowledge from the text book or recite the history book? Of course not. People create as "blank slate”, we learn everything new and different from others, it is possible, and necessary for us to make up our own mind to create our thought and view about the world, or we are just robots. To get rid of copying others, we should rational about things instead of believing in so-called experts and our friends without thinking deeply.
